while keeping vigil at the foot.

How good, gracious, and merciful is our God that by merely hoping…

Our eyes set on Him who is our HOPE…

We are made PURE.

To be PURE is to be all we are called to be…

no fakes, no masks, no pretense, no artificial flavors…

100% pure, all natural, no additives, no preservatives.

By being in Your Presence Lord in prayer…

which in itself is an act of HOPE…

We become more purely who we are…who we are meant to be.

    • thank you so much Joyce…and I too love your blog…how you are alloing us to sample wonderful words from other bloggers we might not come across. It is a unique and blessed work you are doing. Thank you and God Bless.

  1. “To hope is to keep one’s eyes on top of the cross.” Wonderful. I had not thought of focusing on the TOP of the cross before. But that IS where the sign announcing Him as our King was placed! A friend used to tell us when greeted upon arriving at church, “I am doing great as long as I stay at the foot of the Cross.” Very apt. Thank you for this most encouraging post.

  2. Yes you got it Granbee! it’s so easy to keep looking at the splinters of the wooden crosses that we all bear, but that doesn’t help us to move forward. It’s when we look at the top of the cross…yes where the victory sign of King is that we are reminded that we are Resurrection people! Yes being at the foot of the cross is a good place to be…when Jesus’ heart was pierced graces pured forth up on the earth. Being in that shower of grace is a most perfect place to be!
