A wonderful verse J with much Truth but what of genetic defects like I was born with…..When God created the Universe everything was perfect it was very good God doesn’t make mistakes but along came sin and sickness, suffering and pointless pain this was not from the hand of God, He does not do evil He is Love, they came because of the fall. When we do not seek after Him with all our heart and willingly submit totaly to His guidelines or seek after the things He asks us to do including His wisdom we pass on error and it continues even to 4 Generations and then those we influence also pass it on and so we suffer and have hardship
These are not the things God planned for us these are not the good that He wants for us. Thankfully He knew us before we were conceived and He knew we would come to heart repentance realizing He has to be first in our heart and lives so we can be conformed into the image of His Son, but until we do this and willingly seek Him and His will not our own way, He disciplines us by letting us have what we want and to do what we want, He does not force us to submit if He did we would be puppets and He wants us to freely choose Him and have all the good He has planned for us but because we sin wanting our own way we suffer from the things of the flesh both ours and others and being sinful we are without His protection and strengthening until like the Prodigal son we come to our senses… Wow the welcome and blessings we receive when we do and then in Christ Jesus we are more then Conquerors with all the Armour we will ever need, we have everything to live upright and righteous lives that bring Glory to God and inner Joy to us…..Awesome is our God of Love and His ways are good .

I do believe Anne that even with genetic defects that God looks at his marvelous work and says, “She is WONDERFUL”….God always has a much bigger plan that we can ever fathom …His Love is extravagant! Blessings to you this day!
Yes I agree J but God did not cause my genetic defect or disability any more then He caused the man to be blind when this Scripture is understood it shows clearly the mans blindness was not from Him but He used them both for good and one day I will share how in my life God has shown His mercy and Grace and He did not have to cause me to suffer or to be disabled to do so and He did not cause it to teach me something or someone else but He uses everything in our lives and works it for good.
Yes God knew I would be disabled before I was Born, my birth mother was an alcoholic and I was poisoned, my development was impaired just like when they Abort a baby but God didn’t cause it and to say He did is to say He does evil, sickness is not from God it comes from a fallen world and fallen people, which the Scriptures make clear we suffer because of our own or others sin including Adams but Spiritually we will always be Victorious in Christ Jesus . God knows what we can handle and to show His provision and Love will Intervene when needed.

Psalm 139 really is about His special designs for our lives, isn’t it? I had never thought of this “design” as being related to wearing designer-labelled clothing; therefore, I really appreciate your creativity and inspiration here with that analogy in this post. Bless you!

You definitely have took creativity to another level. Nothing about us is a mistake, such comfort this gives me. So when man criticize me, I know I am wonderfully made and acceptable to God. Man’s approval is not needed when I have God’s applause.
