Be on the alert for symptoms of inner Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to this virus and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions. This could pose a serious threat to what has, up to now, been a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world.

Some signs and symptoms of The Christmas Virus:

A tendency to:      think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past  experiences

An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment

A loss of  interest in judging other people.

  • A loss of  interest in interpreting the actions of others.
  • A loss of  interest in conflict.
  • A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom.)
  • Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
  • Contented  feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
  • Frequent attacks of smiling.
  • An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
  • An increased  susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

Please send this warning out to all your friends. This virus can and has affected many systems. Some systems have been completely cleaned out because of it. (Author Unknown)

What if…

What if all you had in your life today…

was only what you gave thanks for yesterday?…

Would your plate be empty?

Or your hands full?

“With my whole being I sing endless praise to you.  O Lord, my God, forever will I give you thanks.” Ps 30:13

Bus Stop Living?…

Waiting at the bus stop?…

Ipod tuned up high to the “when I do…then I’ll be…”  “if only I was….then I could…”etc, etc, etc?

Tinted sunglasses obscuring the vision of the “here and now”?

Will grown soft in the sitting and the waiting?

Bus Stop Living.

Friend, your daily ride just passed you by…the bus of the present blessings that make up the adventure of today.

It’s not too late to catch it…

Celebrate the present moment.  Savor its gifts hidden within. Live this day’s treasures in gratitude to the giver of all good gifts!

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Ps 118:24

On the Road of Now…

Stepping from the whirlwind of life…

I’ve made a decision…again it wells up from within…renewed conviction…

Fully alive to the gift of today….

Immersed in the wonder of the now.

Allowing it to fill this chalice to overflowing.

Lifting it upward…

In profound gratitude.

My footprints upon the earth…receiving, believing, and adoring.

On the narrow road that leads to home.

Heart of J is back after a brief respite

Back on the road….will you travel with me?

There’s plenty of room in the “I am” of this day….everyday.

“You set a table before me as my enemies watch; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.  Only goodness and love ill pursue me all the days of my life; I ill dwell in the house of the Lord for years to come.” Ps 23:5-6

“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it”…
