Things have been a bit quiet on the blog…but the most wonderful news to share…

I am a new, first time grandma!

No one can really put into words the indescribable joy of being a grandma.

This precious new life…in all ways a gift from God!

Ansley Grace…you make me smile from the inside out!

Her heart brimming with the Word of Life…

sees Him hidden in the ordinary…

and reads His love notes tucked into the day.

The story of her soul authored by His grace.

It’s the secret of her smile from within…

and her posture of Praise.

EXPECTANT…

The PRESENT of His PRESENCE in the PRESENT…

Clay in His hand…

malleable to His “grace is sufficient”…

in the newness of “this is the day the Lord has made”…

in the newness of this “year of favor of the Lord”.

Docile to the work of the Holy Spirit…

allowing the embrace of a trust in the “plans for welfare not for woe”…

and armed with “in the joy of the Lord is my strength…

Adventure begins…the PRESENT of His PRESENCE in the PRESENT.

Happy New Year 2014!

WARNING……WARNING: CHRISTMAS VIRUS

Be on the alert for symptoms of inner Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to this virus and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions. This could pose a serious threat to what has, up to now, been a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world.

Some signs and symptoms of The Christmas Virus:

A tendency to:      think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past  experiences

An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment

A loss of  interest in judging other people.

  • A loss of  interest in interpreting the actions of others.
  • A loss of  interest in conflict.
  • A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom.)
  • Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
  • Contented  feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
  • Frequent attacks of smiling.
  • An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
  • An increased  susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

Please send this warning out to all your friends. This virus can and has affected many systems. Some systems have been completely cleaned out because of it. (Author Unknown)

“We have to go out and talk to people in the city whom we’ve seen on their balconies.  We have to come out of our shell and tell them that Jesus lives…to say it with joy…even though it seems a little crazy sometimes.”  Pope Francis

“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost.” Luke 19:10

Lights to the Lost…Beacons to the Broken…

Technicolor JOY…

Colorfully expressed through the uniqueness of who we were created to be.

Not a hippy-hoppy-happy indifference toward those around us.

A kaleidoscope of souls reflecting prisms of the light of truth…

WE ARE NO LONGER DEAD IN SIN.

But ALIVE in vibrant hope of new life…

Reflections of the Praise of His Glory…

Defiant Joy…

What to do?…

in the mixed up, muck filled, muddled mess of the world?

in the darkening, dismal, disconnected, depressing days?

A friend whispered….

defiant joy…

defiant joy?

Ah Yes, DEFIANT JOY!…

challenging, daring, defying, commanding JOY!

bold, brazen, hardy, gutsy JOY!

resistant to the opposing force…

DEFIANT JOY!
