Mercy the eyes searching down into the valley for any sign of return…

Mercy the eyes of love awaiting.

Mercy the ears attuned to the cry of souls drowning in their stench…

Mercy the ears of love listening.

Mercy the lips inhaling/exhaling the names of the lost ones…

Mercy the lips of love calling.

Mercy the feet trudging through the ditch to rescue the bondaged …

Mercy the feet of love running.

Mercy the arms of strength magnificent lifting in resurrection the lifeless souls…

Mercy the arms of love lifting.

Mercy the embrace of extravagant love wrapping the broken in wholeness and healing…

Mercy the embrace of love encircling.

Mercy the love that invites us home.

Flows forth from the one who believes.

YOU WHO BELIEVE are saturating the paths of those you cross.

YOU WHO BELIEVE are refreshing the tired feet of fellow sojourners.

YOU WHO BELIEVE are cooling the burn of the heavily burdened.

YOU WHO BELIEVE are cleansing the grime and dirt of the spirit of the world in the thoughts of the confused.

YOU WHO BELIEVE… streams of living water flow from you as you carry Christ within you.

YOU WHO BELIEVE…

 Go forth into your corner of the world becoming the gift of a gentle wave that readies hearts for a new springtime!

“Whoever believes in me, as scripture says; ‘Rivers of living water will flow from within him.’ “

in the darkening, dismal, disconnected, depressing days?

Slipping and sliding through life…

The rush of the path,

Cushioned by the flow of water…

Until all dries up…

Painful the burn of the journey…when all comes to a standstill.

Oh dehydrated soul

Whose busy-ness of self has forgotten the Source.

Thirst for the living water…

that immerses, that saturates, that floods.

Float back into the current of grace.

Again…Slipping and Sliding through life.

“A clean heart create for me, God;  renew in me a steadfast spirit.  Do not drive me from your presence, nor take from me your Holy Spirit.  Restore my joy in your salvation; sustain in me a willing spirit.” Ps 51: 12-14

Draws others to HIM.

Today I must walk…

Today I must give my heart away.

With Jesus in me, I walk to the blind, trusting that He has seen what I’ll find.

He speaks to the heart.  I speak to the mind. Together we walk as I learn to be kind.

Not my place to judge but my place to care, to show the unwanted that Jesus is there.
