Clipped Wings…

Has life clipped your wings? …

Perhaps you have forgotten the Source of your soar…

“…rejoicing in the Lord must be your strength.” Neh 8:8:10b

What ifs, could have beens, if onlys…

God is not in the what ifs, could have beens, if onlys….

He is in the I AM, we are, he/she is grace of each new day.

His Presence in the present is our strength.

“You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in your presence, the delights at your right hand forever.” Ps 16:11,

What if…

What if all you had in your life today…

was only what you gave thanks for yesterday?…

Would your plate be empty?

Or your hands full?

“With my whole being I sing endless praise to you.  O Lord, my God, forever will I give you thanks.” Ps 30:13

It’s Impossible…

Discouragement is when the problem before you has become bigger than God, Himself.

Our vision is cast downward and we’ve forgotten to trust in Him and His plan for our lives.

We are at our best when we are looking up.

It’s impossible to look up and be discouraged.

“My eyes are ever upon the Lord, who frees my feet from the snare.” Ps 25:15

Garment of Grace…

Mercy is to touch the hem of His Heart…

Mercy infuses…Mercy transforms…weaving one into the garment of His extravagant Love.

The gift received…becomes the gift given.

With the mantle of mercy one is wrapped, drawing all of life under this garment of grace.

Covered under the cloak are those occasions of forgiveness…not that they are forgotten, not an agreement with what was said or done…

But the loose threads of the hurt are carefully rewoven into the garment of grace…in trust…

That one is “filling up what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ on behalf of his body”…

All for a purpose…all for God’s glory.

“And over all these put on love, that is, the bond of perfection.  And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body.  And be thankful. ” Col 3:14-15.

Mercy received becomes mercy given.

A Mess?…

Let Jesus take your mess…

And turn it into a message.

“The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 1 Co 1:18

Have a blessed weekend, From the heart of j

Facets of the Human Person…

The facets of the human person…

Fallen yet immersed in the I AM…

Catching bits of light and reflecting it.

The broken- open- healed- present- potential bundle of God’s Love.

Just one cell of the mystical Body with a unique task that no other can accomplish in the Divine Plan.

Let there be harmony among the broken-open-healed-present-potential masterpieces of Divine Love…

Which is the not yet tuned symphony of the Glory of God…

Man Himself…

The broken-open-healed-present-potential bundle of God’s Love.

“At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face.  At present I know partially; then I shall know fully as I am fully known. So faith, hope, love remain, these three, but the greatest of these is love.” ! Cor 13:12

The Welcome Mat is Out…

Are you at home where your heart belongs?

No?….

He stands at the door knocking. On His side the welcome mat is always out…A place to wipe away the grime of one’s attachments before entering.

“Jesus said to him,” I am the way and the truth and the life.” John 14:6

His Wide Awake Love…

His Wide Awake Love…

Greets me in the Son rising of my morning heart…

the light of the new day resurrects into the set aside day gone by.

A thing of the past.

The Monday that seems like a Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday bundle…

is ready to run.

On your mark, get set, ready, go!

“Sing joyfully to God our strength.” Ps 81:2
